Wilkes County's oldest farmers market is open from late April through September at the Yadkin Valley Marketplace (842 CBD Loop) in Downtown North Wilkesboro. The market operates two days a week, Tuesdays starting in June from 3:30 to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The market boasts 20 plus vendors who sell locally grown and raised produce and meat, valued-added items like bread and cheese, and hand-made crafts.
