The North Meck Community Farmers Market was created as a way to promote local food producers and increase access to healthy food options in the community. The goal of this market is to create a space where people can come together as a community, build relationships with their neighbors, engage in conversation about local food systems, support local farmers and small businesses in their community, and build awareness about healthy eating behavior changes that can lead to better health outcomes for all members of our community including those with limited access. The farmers market will be on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM from April 24,2024 until September 25, 2024 at the Northern Regional Recreation Center in Cornelius.
