We only allow farmers licensed through the state of California's Dept. of Agriculture so our customers know they are getting fresh & local produce from small farms. Shopping from small farms ensures your produce is grown in a sustainable way w/minimal to no pesticides. Don't be fooled by other "farmers markets"-THEY ARE NOT CERTIFIED! Non-certified markets can sell you produce from Mexico & other countries picked up from the docks in L.A. Produce from out of the country can be treated w/unsafe chemicals & fertilized w/human waste. DON'T RISK IT! Farm Freshness, Grocery Goodies, & many small business vendors are here weekly during our seasonal dates April-September 8:30-1 Tuesdays.
